I have a new detecting recruit

Just had to post this picture,my new grandson Liam in a relaxed mode.
 The other pics are coins I have found in and around this area,the Aussie $2 coins soon add up,also another couple of silver rings,I have had two trips to the local beaches but they are very sanded up,and as they are 100kms away a bit of beforehand planning is required.
 The last picture is the after shot of the same coins after being soaked in plain old lemon juice,yip that's right it works a treat,loosens up all that old dirt and crud,good enough to pass them over the counter again without to many strange looks.I wouldn't recommend mixing silver coins with newer ones,the acid sets up a reaction......jim
