Scored gold at Manly beach

I had an early morning low tide hunt yesterday, really not expecting to get a lot, the first signal I get is a solid 12-20.I was over the moon to see a gold glint in my spade,it is 9kt and although a bit bent it appears to have been there for a long time. The dollars came from up on the dry sand,The other ring is just a cheapie but had me going there for a bit, lots of old ferrous iron here but the odd target scattered amongst it.The mid to lower levels of this beach are heavily sanded up.Happy hunting all.

  2. Your gold strike rate is impressive... I get 10 silvers for every gold..
