Top of the range gold

Spent a few hours at Shakespear Beach, and ran into 3 local guys with MD'S it was great to have a chat,I only managed a few coins there so next day I moved onto another bay back up the peninsular.
That was were I managed the other finds, the silver mans onyx ring would have been a cracker in its day but the salt and weather have taken there toll, only good for scrap now.
The find of the day goes to the white gold Cartier love ring, the diamond checks out load and clear with tester.Shame about the two watches the ladies would have been nice but for the salt damage. They both came up in the medium ferrous range, but the tone just said dig me.Ended up with about $21 for the two days.

  1. Wow Jim what a great find.
Sounds like half of Auckland was up there hunting over Easter. :-)

  3. Haha yip there was a lot of people here over the weekend alright Max included, just weighed the ring came in at 8.9 g.Went back again tonight but just a few dollars, meet up with the two Auckland guys again.I have been thinking about a CTX3030, the GPS would be invaluable on these large beaches (need a few more finds to finance it though)
